...by rationalizing,

over-complicating,

spinning the facts,

becoming combative/defensive when challenged,

etc, etc, etc.


THE WORST PART

is that as often as this happens,

it's also often the case

that most everyone around that exec

sees the problem, the avoidance, and the rationalizations.


THEN

respect for that exec,

trust in their judgment,

trust in their leadership...
